If you prefer to swim in the Aegean Sea then Rhodes (Rodos), Ixia and Ialysos are suitable beaches although they have many waves. The windsurfing fans usually prefer these beaches.
Beaches of exceptional beauty on the island of Rhodes are Elli, Angathi, Ladiko, Afantou, Kalithea, Prasonissi,Genadi, Saint Pavlos, Antony Quinn, Glyfada, Glystra and Fourni.

Most beaches are organized and have kiosks, restaurants, deck chairs and umbrellas. There are of course some beaches that have no easy access but will certainly reward you with their wild and untouched beauty. The dives in Rhodes will excite you and you will never get bored.
Some of the beaches do not have many restaurants and cantinas so they have high prices for their items, therefore make a more careful choice of what you buy or prefer to have something already with you. Furthermore the prices for the umbrellas and the deck chairs are sometimes very high but do not worry because there is space in all the beaches for your towels if you do not want to pay for a sun bed and an umbrella.
